Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga… just what exactly is it?

You’ve likely heard the word Ashtanga before, maybe uttered in reverential tones or perhaps as a reference to an active form of yoga but do you really know what it is? Are you curious to find out but a little nervous that it won’t be suitable for you? Do you already know a little about it but want to understand more of the intricacies of the system?

Then join us (Noelle & Steve) for a two and a half hour workshop to explore the basics of the entire Ashtanga system.

We will offer an introduction to the postures, the breath, the philosophy and the benefits of the practice. Our interactive format will allow plenty of time for questions and is designed to be accessible to all.

You will receive guidance about how to begin or deepen your Ashtanga journey and learn the key postures in the Primary Series. Also you will be given printed material and references to continue your learning after the workshop ends.

By having 2 instructors in the room we will ensure individual attention and adjustments for everyone according to their level and ability.
