with Reham Alaa
Hatha yoga is the physical movement aspect in yoga. The word “vinyasa” means movement with the breath, or flowing in motion with the breath. In this 3 hour workshop we will be focusing on body posture alignment in yoga asanas (poses). We learn how to properly breathe in one pose and transition to another. The poses will be held long enough for our chakras (energy centers) to open up, so energy can flow easily through the energy line and centers. This leads to strength, flexibility and release of toxins and muscle tension. In addition to physical benefits, it also eases emotional tension and stresses. The overall goal is for students and participants to gain proper knowledge about basic yoga postures and alignment and feel rejuvenated.
This workshop is accessible to all levels, and fits all different yoga styles and practices.
