Pregnancy Circle: Birth & Postpartum with Alia Zayda

Are you a mom-to-be who is feeling anxious about giving birth and the postpartum period that follows right after? Would you like to become a part of a pregnancy support group where you will learn the basics of birth and beyond, and connect with like-minded mamas to be?
Come join our pregnancy circles where you can ask all your questions and where we will prepare you for the wonderful journey of motherhood. You will meet a birth doula, lactation consultant, sexual health expert and other expecting moms to make you feel more at ease for this new chapter of your life. We’ve also created a goodie bag filled with mom baby treats to spoil you just that little extra!

Circle 1: Friday 25th of November 11AM at Osana
During this circle we will discuss what it means to give birth and some of the possible scenarios you can expect. You will meet guest speaker Sumaya Holdijk, a birth doula, who will guide you through the basics of having a positive birth.
A birth plan is for guidance only. Its important to make room for the unexpected and there is no shame in not having a vaginal birth!

During this circle we will discuss intimacy after giving birth, a topic that is often taboo and therefore very confusing for new mothers. You will learn how to navigate intimacy after childbirth in a healthy way. This session will be led by guest speaker Mariam Aziz, a psychosexual therapist and sexual health educator.
